We offer both one-time detailed washes done as needed or recurring washes done every one, two, three, or four weeks. Recurring washes are the best way to keep your boat clean year-round so it’s ready for you anytime you want to enjoy it.
All washes include: cleaning the boat from the waterline up using a soap that doesn’t strip wax; washing away dirt and salt spray, bird or spider droppings, and black water streaks; scrubbing non-skid and lifting up hatches and storage compartments to clean the gutter tracks and hatch edges and doing a wipe down in the cockpit or flybridge area.
South Florida is hot all year long, since the UV Rays are stronger here, Wax may not be the best method of protection for your boat. Ceramic Coatings out performs wax by up to 2 years. Wax products and silicone sealants last for only a few months before it has to be applied again.
While ceramic coating can be more expensive than traditional wax, you are applying so much less than wax. After the your application, simply wash your boat down with water and a neutral soap once a month and the protection continues for years.
We trust the brand, Tsunami for all our Ceramic Coating use. We are certified with this product, and brand loyal because of the quality and price point. Retain the value of your vessel with Ceramic Coatings!
Paint Protection Film is a layer of ultra-durable thermoplastic urethane film that is nearly invisible and acts as a layer of armor to protect your boat against wear and tear, UV rays, scratches, harsh chemicals, and airborne pollutants.
Think of paint protection film as a stronger version of a phone screen protector. The film on your phone absorbs any impacts to protect your screen from shattering. On the water and at the dock, your boat is constantly under assault from UV radiation, deadheads, scratches, abrasions, and more. Paint Protection Film is a sacrificial barrier that takes the brunt of the damage while maintaining a pristine gel coat and finish underneath for up to 10 years!
As the water churns, the wind blows, and even after the sun goes down, salt water is inevitably going to cover the exterior of your boat. Seagulls, pelicans, ducks, and crows will land on your boat and do all kinds of terrible things to the gel coat. The way to combat wind, weather, and wildlife is to have your boat on a regular washdown and detailing schedule. Talk to our guys at Swift Marine to get your boat on a monthly washdown schedule today!
